Cutting boards
Necessity is the mother of invention, right? These board ar made for the practical purpose of not moving while you are using them. the are large and heavy. The staves of the boards are secured together by foo-safe adhesives and dowels (the one place those really get used in this shop!). The inspiration for making the first one of these 2-inch thick, 15-inch deep by 24-inch wide monsters came form something a herding competitor once said to me: When that dog kills that man’s sheep then you’re going to buy it from him and butcher it yourself.
